The University of Texas Permian Basin has scheduled a homecoming parade, block party, bonfire and fireworks from 5:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Friday.
The parade will start at 5:45 p.m. along UTPB circle. The parade will feature floats from student organizations, departments, and spirit groups. The community is invited to park and watch the parade drive by.
The block party will start at 6:30 p.m. at the library parking lot. There will be a live performance from the Permian Basin’s own Current Nine band. There will also be free food, yard games, and other activities.
Pep-rally, bonfire and fireworks will follow at 8 p.m.
