The UTPB women’s soccer team had to settle for a 2-2 draw against UT-Tyler Saturday at home.
The Falcons took a 2-0 halftime lead before giving up two second half goals as both teams ended up sharing the points.
UTPB moved to 2-3-3, 0-1-2 while the Patriots are now 2-2-5, 0-1-3.
The Falcons took the lead on a 31st minute goal by Kat Wolfe before Tatiana Leggiero doubled the lead in the 41st minute.
However, UT-Tyler used a late comeback as an 85th minute goal by Maddie Higgins and an 89th minute strike by Mackenzee Stokes tied the game up.
UTPB will be back at home to face West Texas A&M at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4.
