The UTPB women’s soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw against Angelo State Wednesday at Falcon Field.
Both teams scored off penalties in the first half and couldn’t find the game-winning goal in the second half.
UTPB moved to 4-5-3 overall and 2-4-2 in Lone Star Conference play.
Angelo State moved to 8-1-4, 6-0-2.
Laura Perez put the Falcons in front with her 39th minute goal before Angelo State was awarded a penalty and Abby James scored from the spot.
UTPB will next face Texas Woman’s University at 1 p.m. Saturday in Denton.
