The UTPB women’s soccer team was picked to finish 12th in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll which was released Wednesday.
The Falcons, coached Carla Tejas, are coming off a 4-7-6 record from last year.
Tejas enters her third year as head coach at UTPB.
Dallas Baptist was picked to finish first in the standings, with St. Mary’s predicted to finish second, followed by Angelo State.
Dallas Baptist has won four consecutive LSC titles.
UTPB’s first game will be Sept. 5, at Our Lady of the Lake University.
