DENVER, COLO. The UTPB women’s soccer team fell to Regis in a 4-2 nonconference game Sunday on the road.
The Falcons fell to 0-2-1 for the season while Regis moved to 2-2.
UTPB’s Kristel Chaves score an equalizer in the 11th minute of the game before Regis went back in front with a goal by Teagan Marshall just one minute later.
Goals from Sarah Wynn and Natalie Bunch made it a three-goal lead for the hosts before UTPB’s Laura Perez scored off a penalty kick for the Falcons in the 68th minute.
UTPB will have its home opener at 7 p.m. Friday against Schreiner.
