UTPB’s Alexus Quaadman has once again earned Lone Star Conference honors as she was named the Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
This is the fourth time Quaadman has earned the honor.
Last week, Quaadman helped UTPB qualify for the Lone Star Conference tournament with her ten points, 13 rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots in the Falcons’ 90-54 win over Angelo State on Feb. 28 at Falcon Dome.
It was her 11th double-double of the season.
She followed it up with ten points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots in UTPB’s 78-65 loss to Angelo State on Saturday in San Angelo.
The Falcons (22-6 overall, 17-5 in conference) will face Angelo State for a third consecutive time at noon Friday in the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament at the Comerica Center in Frisco.
UTPB is the No. 3 seed in the conference while Angelo State is the No. 6 seed.
