FORT SMITH, ARK. The UTPB women’s basketball team made it two in a row on the road with a 71-52 victory against Arkansas-Fort Smith in Lone Star Conference play Saturday at the Stubblefield Center.
Andreea Mancha scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Falcons (6-4 overall, 3-1 in conference).
UTPB began the road trip with a victory against Oklahoma Christian on Thursday in Oklahoma City.
Holly Hemmeline finished with 14 points, Avalon Munoz had 12 points and seven assists, with Alexus Quaadman finishing with a double-double (10 pionts, game-high 13 rebounds).
The Falcons took control in the first quarter, holding a double-digit lead (21-11) after 10 minutes.
They led by eight (40-32) at halftime and then broke the game open in the third quarter, leading 55-38 after 30 minutes.
