The UTPB women’s basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to three games when it hosts Angelo State at 2 p.m. Friday at the Falcon Dome.
The Falcons are 6-4 overall, 3-1 in Lone Star Conference play, including a pair of road victories last week against Oklahoma Christian and Arkansas-Fort Smith.
UTPB is off to its best start in conference play since the the 2019-20 season.
Andreea Mancha leads UTPB in scoring at 14.4 points per game, with Holly Hemmeline next at 12.3.
The Falcons return from the Christmas break to face Eastern New Mexico at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 in Portales, N.M. and then play Western New Mexico at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2023, in Silver City, N.M.
