The UTPB women’s basketball team remained undefeated at home early in the season after picking up a 71-61 Lone Star Conference win over Oklahoma Christian Thursday at Falcon Dome.
The Falcons moved to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play while the Eagles fell to 2-5, 1-2.
UTPB had four players score in double figures as Avalon Munoz led the team with 18 points while Makala Bingley had 14, Kamryn Lemon had 13 and Andreea Mancha finished with 11 points.
Oklahoma Christian was led in scoring by Asiyha Smith who finished with 15 points while Brooklin Bain had 12 and Kate Bradley finished with eight.
UTPB will remain at home when the Falcons face Arkansas-Fort Smith at 1 p.m. Saturday at Falcon Dome.
