Sadie Moyer finished with a game-high 14 points and four assists as Texas Woman’s edged a cold-shooting UTPB squad 44-37 in Lone Star Conference play Thursday at the Falcon Dome.
Ashley Ingram added 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds as Texas Woman’s improved to 10-3 overall, 3-0 in conference).
Avalon Munoz and Rory Carter each finished with seven points to lead the Falcons (4-9, 0-1).
UTPB shot less than 33 percent (15-of-46) from the field in the game and scored in single digits in three of the four quarters.
The Falcons return to the court against Midwestern State at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Falcon Dome.
