LEVELLAND The No. 10-ranked Odessa College women’s basketball team finished up the regular season with a 60-57 win over South Plains College Monday on the road.
With the win, the Lady Wranglers moved to 27-3 overall, 13-1 in WJCAC.
The victory keeps Odessa College in first place in the WJCAC standings ahead of New Mexico Junior College (24-5, 12-1) which did not play Monday night.
New Mexico Junior College will finish its regular season Thursday against Clarendon College.
Ivana Krajina led the Lady Wranglers with 15 points while Tia Shelling had nine and Kimora Daly finished with eight.
The Lady Texans (13-16, 6-7) were led in scoring by Yendrie Acosta’s 18 points while Bella Belong and Maya Woodson each scored eight.
Odessa College will next play in the Region 5 tournament next week beginning on March 13 in Weatherford with the bracket still to be determined.
