The Odessa College women’s basketball team is ranked No. 8 in the preseason NJCAA poll.
Coached by Franqua Bedell, the Lady Wranglers are coming off a 30-5 record from last season which included a Western Junior College Athletic Conference title and an appearance in the NJCAA national tournament.
The Lady Wranglers will begin the season with a tournament game against Barton Community College on Nov. 1 in Hobbs, N.M.
Odessa College will play its home opener on Nov. 7 against Dodge City Community College in the Wrangler Classic.
