LAKEWOOD, COLO. The UTPB women’s soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw against Colorado Christian in a nonconference matchup Thursday at Trailblazer Stadium.
A 71st minute equalizer by Colorado Christian’s Jessie Sims ended up canceling out UTPB’s first half goal from Natalia Salas who put the Falcons ahead in the 14th minute.
UTPB (which moved to 0-1-1 for the season) had 12 shots with four on target and two corner kicks.
UTPB goalkeeper Jenna McEnaney finished with five saves.
Colorado Christian (0-2-1) had 23 shots with seven on goal and four corner kicks.
UTPB will remain in Colorado for its next game at noon Sunday against Regis in Denver.
