CORPUS CHRISTI The Odessa Jackalopes fired 63 shots on goal and six different players scored in a 6-3 victory against the Corpus Christi IceRays on Friday at the American Bank Center.
Cameron Dunn, Ryan Mansfield, Brendan Finn, Dayne Hoyard, John Perdion and Emerson Goode all found the net for the Jackalopes (14-14-0-1), who scored 13 goals in the two-game sweep.
Goaltender Gergely Orosz stopped 28 of the 31 shots he faces.
Corpus Christi netminder Lukas Malant stopped 57 of 62 shots, with Odessa’s final goal finishing into an empty net.
The Jackalopes opened the game with 27 shots in the first period, slowed down to 15 in the second 20 minutes and then capped third period with 21 shots.
