MIDLAND Runs were all over the place in the RockHounds’ 15-14 win over the Corpus Christi Hooks Tuesday at home.
The victory came at the start of a six-game series.
With the victory, the RockHounds moved to 9-7 while the Hooks fell to 4-11.
Corpus Christi built a 10-4 lead after scoring eight runs alone in the sixth inning.
Midland came back with three runs in the seventh, six in the eighth and two in the ninth.
A Lawrence Butler single on a line drive to center field scored Darell Hernaiz and Denzel Clarke to give the RockHounds the victory.
Midland will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at home.
