CLARENDON The Odessa College men’s basketball team picked up its second straight Western Junior College Athletic Conference win, defeating Clarendon College 85-42 Saturday on the road.
Odessa College was in control of the contest early, taking a 45-21 lead into halftime.
The Wranglers didn’t let up throughout the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs by 19 points.
Multiple players stepped up to provide a well-rounded effort for Odessa College, with Daniss Jenkins, Daniel Rivera and Darrell Armstrong Jr. each scoring in double digits.
The Wranglers shot close to 42% from the field in the matchup and held Clarendon College to 15.9% shooting.
Odessa College (10-5 overall, 2-0 WJCAC) now has its holiday break and will pick things back up against Strength ‘N Motion Jan. 3 at the OC Sports Center.
