University of Texas Permian Basin Senior Tatiana Leggiero has been named to the 2023 Lone Star Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference 3rd team. She is the second Falcon to earn honors in the last three years.
Leggiero, who started all but one of the 16 games she played, had five goals with five assists for 15 points. She ranks among the top 10 in the LSC for assist per game (0.31), points per game (0.94), total assists and total points. Leggiero tied the school LSC record for assists in a season and was second for goals and points.
Leggiero scored at least one goal in four games in a five-game span. In a 5-1 win over West Texas A&M (Oct. 4), she had a goal (the game winner) and recorded three assists. Leggiero’s hat trick was the first since joining the LSC in 2016. It was the first one for the Falcons since Oct. 26, 2008.
