Pemian girls volleyball head coach Gilliean Herrera and outside hitter Jade Workman were honored with superlatives on the All-District 2-6A team released Monday.
Herrera was co-Coach of the Year with Midland Legacy’s Rachel Anglin.
Workman, who helped the Lady Panthers to the area playoffs, was selected as the district’s Outstanding Hitter.
Permian added three first-team selections in Cianna Harris, Anahi Orona and Sarahi Orona.
Illiana Garcia and Layny Brown were second-team selections.
Odessa High’s Clarissa Rodriguez was a first-team honoree, while Paige Byford was a second-team selection.
