Area volleyball teams will be competing in the Monahans Volleyball Tournament this week.
The tournament play will begin Friday with pool play and finish up with a bracket on Saturday.
Odessa High (1-1), placed in Pool C, will face Fabens at 8 a.m., TLCA at 10 a.m. and finish up against Palo Duro at 1 p.m. with all games taking place at the high school PE Gym.
Permian (1-0), which is in Pool E, will play in the afternoon, beginning with Seminole at 3 p.m., Big Spring at 4 p.m. and El Dorado at 7 p.m. with all games taking place in the High School Pep Rally Gym.
Compass Academy (1-0) is in Pool D and will also play its games in the afternoon starting with Presidio at 3 p.m., El Paso Bel Air at 5 p.m. and Midland Greenwood at 7 p.m. with all games taking place in the Jerry Larned Sports Complex.
