The Permian volleyball team had to go five sets to defeat Odessa High Friday at the Permian Fieldhouse.
The Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Bronchos 25-18, 23-25, 24-26, 28-26, 15-6 in District 2-6A play.
It was the second five-set victory for Permian this season against Odessa High.
Nyxalee Munoz led the Lady Panthers with 12 kills, followed closely by Jade Workman who recorded 11.
Workman and Denali Cardenas each had 19 assists.
