The Permian, Odessa High and Compass Academy volleyball teams all will be on the road to Monahans Friday and Saturday for the annual Monahans Tournament at the Jerry Larned Sports Complex and Ward County Event Center.
Permian (2-1) will compete in a pool with Midland Classical, Crane and Coahoma, facing all three schools during the day. The Lady Panthers begin with an 8 a.m. contest against Crane at the Event Center.
Odessa High is in a pool with Canutillo, El Paso Bel Air and Buena Vista. The Lady Bronchos (0-1) start their day against Buena Vista at 2 p.m. at the Event Center.
The Lady Cougars will meet Midland Legacy, El Paso Hanks and Fort Stockton in their pool. Compass Academy meets El Paso Hanks at 2 p.m. at the Event Center.
