Permian’s Patricio Rios was honored as the West Texas Tennis Association’s Junior Athlete of the Season in a ceremony Saturday.
Rios, a junior, is the first Permian athlete to receive the award.
The WTTA bestows the recognition to high school athletes in the Permian Basin.
