VAN HORN The Odessa High softball team saw its season come to an end with a 9-8 loss against El Paso Eastwood in Game 3 of a Class 6A bi-district playoff series Saturday at Van Horn.
The Lady Bronchos extended the series with a 5-4 victory in Game 2 earlier Saturday, courtesy of a home run by Shelby Navarrete in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Odessa High held a 6-4 lead in the deciding contest before the Troopers rallied, with Gabby De Anda’s solo home run in the top of the seventh proving to be the game winner.
