GEORGETOWN Johnny Cuellar scored the only goal of the game to lead Permian to a 1-0 victory against Colleyville Heritage on the first day of competition at the Governor’s Cup.
Aidan Melendez assisted on Cuellar’s marker.
Permian continues play in the tournament Friday against San Antonio Cornerstone, before facing Deer Park on Saturday.
