The Permian boys gymnastics team scored 128.10 points to win the team title at the Martha Mitchell Invitational on Friday at the Permian Gymnastics gym.
The Panthers finished first in four of the six rotations as the gymnasts performed their optional routines.
El Paso Eastwood was second at 120.80 points, with Lubbock High third at 111.90.
Odessa High finished fifth with 89.20 points, putting up the top score on the floor exercise.
In the girls competition, El Paso Eastwood scored 105.20 points to hold off El Paso Bel Air (102.35) and El Paso Hanks (87.65).
Odessa High (83.35) and Permian (80.00) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Competition continues at 9 a.m. Saturday with the Harold Green Invitational.
