The Permian boys gymnastics team capped off a strong weekend with a victory at the Harold Green Invitational Saturday at the Permian Gymnastics gym.
The Panthers scored 150.90 points in the compulsory competition, easily outdistancings second-place El Paso Eastwood (132.1o) and third-palce Lubbock High (116.00).
Permian won the Martha Mitchell Invitational on Friday at Permian.
Will Brackeen of Lubbock High won the all-around crown with a 57.60 score, with Permian’s Talan Ramirez (52.20) and Joshua Rodriguez (51.60) second and third.
Odessa High’s Jesse Hernandez (49.30) finished fifth.
El Paso Eastwood won the girls title with 112.25 points, just ahead of El Paso Bel Air (112.10).
Odessa High was third at 96.15, with host Permian finishing fifth at 92.25.
Skyla Cruz of El Paso Bel Air took home the all-around title with 37.90 points.
