Panthers lead
The Permian boys gymnastics team has the lead after the compulsory round of the District 2-5A Championships on Wednesday at the Permian Gymnastics gym.
The Panthers scored 164.70 points, with San Angelo Central second at 164.40.
Abilene High (152.50) is third, with Abilene Cooper (149.10) and Odessa High (143.00) rounding out the standings.
Abilene Cooper’s Tristan Reyna leads the all-around race with 58.20 points.
Permian’s Sincere Galindo (57.30) and Abilene High’s Joel Dantzler are tied for second.
