SOUTHLAKE The Odessa High girls soccer team continued its momentum into Day 2 of the National Elite Prep Showcase with a 1-0 win over Grapevine on Friday.
With a 0-0 tie in the first half, Odessa High goalkeeper Bayleah Garcia had two clutch saves to keep Grapevine scoreless.
In the second half, Cassie Ramirez scored what ended up being the game-winner for the Lady Bronchos.
In its second game of the day, Odessa High dropped a 2-1 decision to Plano West. Jamie Natividad scored the Lady Bronchos’ goal in the second half.
