The Permian football team will travel to play its Class 6A Division I bi-district round matchup against El Paso Franklin.
The Panthers face the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. (CST) Friday at Cougar Stadium in El Paso.
Permian closed out the regular season with a 7-3 overall record after falling 34-21 against Midland Legacy Friday at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.
The Panthers have won their bi-district round matchup in their last six trips to the playoffs.
El Paso Franklin comes in with an 8-2 record after defeating El Paso Pebble Hills 35-13 Friday.
