Permian boys basketball coach Tim Thomas has been recommended for the same position at Fort Worth Southwest the school announced in a social media post Wednesday on Facebook.
Thomas led the Panthers to six consecutive playoff appearances, including three District 2-6A titles, and back-to-back trips to the Region I-6A Tournament in 2018 and 2019.
The Panthers set program marks for the best record (32-4) and most victories in a single season (32) during the 2018-19 campaign.
