SAN ANGELO The Permian boys basketball team suffered its second District 2-6A loss of the season, falling by a 51-43 score against San Angelo Central Friday.
Ben Saldivar led the Panthers with 20 points scored, with Tremayne Baty and Brian Huitron adding in six points each.
San Angelo Central held a five point lead over Permian at halftime and held on, despite being outscored 31-29 in the second half.
Permian (16-5 overall, 1-2 District 2-6A) will play Lubbock-Cooper at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lubbock.
