Permian’s Caleb Boswell earned a first-team selection on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 6A all-state baseball team released Saturday.
Boswell, a junior, shared the catcher’s spot with Evan Aslaksen of Clear Falls.
Griffin Herring of Southlake Carroll was the player of the year as the pitcher finished 13-1 with 0.24 earned run average, finishing with 145 strikeouts in 87 innings.
