After competing in District 2-6A action during the week, the Permian and Odessa High baseball teams close out their nondistrict action Friday and Saturday in separate tournaments.
The Panthers, who played a district doubleheader against San Angelo Central and Wolfforth Frenship Thursday in Wolfforth, will travel to Woodrow to face Lubbock-Cooper at 3 p.m., followed by a game against El Paso Socorro at 6 p.m.
The Bronchos, coming off a loss to San Angelo Central on Tuesday, travel to the Crowley Tournament to meet North Crowley in a 10 a.m. matchup and then Richland at 12:30 p.m.
