Josh Hulin is now the former baseball coach at Odessa High as it was announced Thursday that he has accepted the same position at Midland High.
Hulin coached the Bronchos for 15 seasons, the last nine as head coach.
He replaces Jeremy Mueller, who stepped away from the Bulldogs’ program in April because of health concerns.
Hulin compiled a 149-121-4 record leading the Bronchos, but missed the playoffs the past two seasons.
Odessa High reached the regional semifinal in 2019 before losing to eventual state champion Southlake Carroll.
There were no playoffs in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Odessa High now has head coaching vacancies in volleyball, girls basketball and baseball.
