The Permian and Odessa High baseball teams look to build on their successes Tuesday when the travel to key District 2-6A games on Friday.
The Panthers (21-3 overall, 10-0 district) will face Abilene High at 5 p.m. at Blackburn Field. Permian defeated the Eagles 17-6 in five innings in the first meeting this week.
The Bronchos (12-10-1, 4-6) earned a 5-1 victory against the Bulldogs at Pressly Field. The teams continue the series at 6 p.m. Friday at Zachery Field.
