The Permian girls volleyball team will host El Paso Montwood in a Class 6A bi-district playoff match at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Permian Fieldhouse.
The Lady Panthers (25-9) finished second to Midland Legacy in the District 2-6A standings, while the Lady Rams were third in District 1-6A.
Permian is led by junior outside hitter Jade Workman, with setter Layny Brown, hitters Sarahi Orona and Cianna Harris and libero Iliana Garcia all playing a big role in the team’s successful regular season.
