The UTPB volleyball team lost in a sweep against Lubbock Christian Wednesday at the Rip Griffin Center.
Lubbock Christian won by scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.
The Lady Chaps improved to 9-8 overall, 5-2 in Lone Star Conference while the Falcons fell to 10-6, 3-4.
Lubbock Christian’s Payton Murray and Brleigh Scheweer each had 15 kills to lead the team while Kayton Genebacker had 14 digs.
UTPB’s Kennedi Wright had nine kills while Gabby Gregorski had 10 digs and Jenna Gray finished with 12 assists.
UTPB will next face Western New Mexico at 2 p.m. Saturday at Falcon Dome.
