CANYON The UTPB softball team won its first game of the day before dropping the second contest of the afternoon at the West Texas A&M Invitational Saturday at Schaeffer Park.
The Falcons defeated Fort Lewis, 6-4, to extend their winning streak to six games before losing, 7-6, to Adams State.
Ashlynn Bradley and Aryell Aguiar each drove in two runs against Fort Lewis, with Mia Quintero scoring twice.
Quintero drove in two runs against Adams State, which scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win.
