The UTPB softball team lost to Midwestern State in a 5-0 contest Sunday at Falcon Field.
Wrapping up its Lone Star Conference series against the Mustangs, the Falcons (4-17 overall, 1-11 in conference) finished with one hit and one error.
Midwestern State (4-20, 2-13) had six hits and two errors.
Midwestern State pitcher Kennedy Cameron was credited for the win while UTPB’s Laila Vasquez took the loss.
UTPB will next face Texas Woman’s in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. March 8 in Denton.
