BORGER The Odessa College softball team closed out its regular season with a four-game sweep of Frank Phillips College on the road.
Two five-inning games was all the Wranglers needed Saturday to defeat the Lady Plainsmen. Odessa College won the first game 14-2 and followed that with an 8-0 win.
The Wranglers (35-9 overall, 24-6 WJCAC) had set the tone early in the four-game series with two shutout victories Friday.
Hunter Harkrider hit a combined three home runs in the Saturday doubleheader to lead Odessa College, bringing in eight runners.
Morgan Brandon pitched the first game, striking out six with six hits allowed. Ally Lowe was in the circle for the final game, allowing three hits with two strikeouts.
The Wranglers will continue their season with the Westedrn Junior College Athletic Conference Tournament next week at Lubbock Christian University.
