LUBBOCK Top seed Odessa College has a bye in the first round of the NJCAA Region 5 Softball Tournament that begins Friday at Plains Capital Park at Lubbock Christian University.
The Lady Wranglers will face the winner of the Western Texas-Clarendon game at 5:30 p.m. in a second-round game.
The tournament runs through Sunday.
