The UTPB women’s soccer team got its first win of the season with a 2-0 victory against Texas Wesleyan Monday at Falcon Field.
Goals by Cassandra Ramirez and Ilaya Pata were enough to give UTPB the win.
UTPB moved to 1-0-1 with the victory.
The Falcons had 25 total shots-15 on target-while Texas Wesleyan could only manage one shot total.
Texas Wesleyan had 13 saves while UTPB finished with one.
UTPB will next face Fort Lewis College at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 at home.
