Four teams and 41 Odessa College athletes were named to the All-Academic Teams or Academic Teams of the year for 2020-21 by the NJCAA last week.
Student-athletes are eligible to be honored by finishing the academic year with a 3.60 GPA or better.
The Odessa College volleyball team was named one of those academic teams of the year with a 3.64 GPA along with men’s golf (3.50), softball (3.49) and baseball (3.21).
Nineteen Wranglers were named to the All Academic-First Team with a 4.0 GPA, while six were named to the second team for a 3.8 GPA or better. Sixteen more student-athletes earned third-team honor with a 3.6 to 3.79 GPA.
