UTPB quarterback Kenny Hrncir was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
The East Central Oklahoma transfer threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to lead UTPB past Western Oregon in a 28-16 homecoming win Saturday at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland and keep the Falcons undefeated in conference play.
UTPB sits at 8-1 overall, 6-0 in Lone Star Conference is currently ranked No. 18 in the NCAA Division II standings and No. 3 in the Super Region Four rankings.
The Falcons will face Western New Mexico (1-7, 0-6) on the road at 12 p.m. Saturday in Silver City, N.M.
