UTPB used a strong second half to cruise to a 41-3 victory against Western New Mexico Saturday at Ratliff Stadium.
The Falcons (1-0 overall, 1-0 in Lone Star Conference) scored 27 points in the second half to turn a 14-3 halftime lead into a 38-point win.
Quarterback Dylan Graham went completed 31 passes for 404 yards and three touchdowns.
The Mustangs (0-1, 0-1) finished with just 67 yards passing and 51 rushing yards.
UTPB will next face Colorado State-Pueblo at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 on the road.
