UTPB quarterback Dylan Graham and kick returner Traylen Suel were both named to this week’s Lone Star Conference Players of the Week.
Graham was named the Lone Star Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week while Suel earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Graham threw four touchdown passes to four different targets to lead the Falcons to a 67-14 win against Adams State Saturday at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland.
Graham finished 15-of-25 for 272 yards passing.
UTPB’s offense produced more than 600 total yards.
Suel had a 96-yard return for a touchdown in the Falcons’ win and finished with 140 yards on three returns.
He also had a 47-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.
Texas A&M-Kingsville’s defensive end DeMarcus Hendricks was named the Defensive Player of the Week after having two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the Javelinas’ 27-7 win against Mississippi College.
UTPB will next face Texas A&M-Kingsville at 6 p.m. Saturday at Astound Broadband Stadium.
