HUTCHINSON, KAN. The Odessa College men’s basketball team continues its run toward a national title when it faces Salt Lake Community College in the NJCAA Men’s Division I Nationial Tournament at noon Thursday at Hutch Arena.
The Wranglers (28-6) defeated Shelton State Community College, 89-82, in a second-round game Tuesday to advance.
No. 1 seed Salt Lake CC defeated Mobley Area 86-83 to reach the Elite Eight.
Salt Lake CC defeated Odessa College, 102-95 in overtime, in November, 2021, at the OC Sports Center.
No No. 1 seed has won the tournament.
