For the fourth consecutive year, the Odessa College men’s basketball team will be heading to Hutchinson, Kan. for the NJCAA National Tournament.
The Wranglers were selected as the No. 13-seed and will play No. 20-seed Trinidad State in the first round at 7:15 p.m. March 24 at Hutch Sports Arena.
Odessa College enters at 24-8 after losing to South Plains College in the Region 5 Tournament semifinals this past Friday.
South Plains College (31-2) ended up winning the Region 5 Tournament, defeating Clarendon College 100-98 on Saturday in Weatherford.
The Texans are the No. 2-seed in the tournament and will get a first-round bye.
Clarendon College (23-10) did not make the tournament.
