The UTPB men’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday, falling 69-68 against Westminster at the Falcon Dome.
The Falcons held a 30-27 lead to close out the first half, but Westminster outscored UTPB 42-38 to close out the one-point victory.
DaJuan Jones led UTPB with 21 points, followed closely by Miles Daniels who scored 20.
Jones also recorded five assists and Lemmie Howard paced the Falcons with nine total rebounds.
UTPB will close out a three-game home stand against Sul Ross State at 1 p.m. Monday at the Falcon Dome.
