The UTPB baseball team defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville in a 19-2 win Friday at Roden Field in Lone Star Conference play.
The Falcons moved to 10-7 overall, 10-7 in conference, while the Javelinas fell to 9-10, 7-10.
UTPB had 12 hits and no errors while Texas A&M-Kingsville had seven hits and five errors.
The Falcons scored four runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead and not look back.
UTPB scored 14 runs alone in the sixth inning to further distance itself.
Creede Jeffers took the win on the mound for the Falcons while Carter Poulson took the loss for the Javelinas.
Both teams will be back on the field with a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday at Roden Field.
